Brookwood strives to be a true haven for those with chemical sensitivities. Guests are kindly asked to refrain from bringing any scented personal care products, detergents, or perfumes. While full control over all visitors isn’t possible, the team is deeply committed to maintaining a low-tox, welcoming space for all.

What They Use:

Laundry: Seventh Generation (liquid or powder pods)
Cleaning: Vinegar, hydrogen peroxide, Castile soap, rubbing alcohol, Bar Keepers Friend, and occasional bleach (for deep cleaning only)
Hand + Body Soap: Unscented Dr. Bronner’s
Dishwashing: Seventh Generation dishwasher liquid
Shower Products: Free & Clear shampoo/conditioner (formerly Vanicream)
No air fresheners or candles
Pool Cleaning: Low levels of chlorine + baking soda
